Charity Event 2018

This year’s Charity event will be held on Tuesday 30th October.

Talk entitled ‘Butterflies and Moths of Hertfordshire’
by Andrew Wood of Butterfly Conservation (Herts and Middlesex branch)

Charity Event 2017

The 2017 Charity Event was held on Tuesday 24th October.

In total we raised  £345.98 for Home-Start, from ticket money, donation boxes and money raised by sale of goods/specimens.


“SINKHOLES”

A presentation by Richard Puchner, in aid of HomeStart

Hertfordshire’s ground instability, land use legacy and the impact of historic chalk mining.

Members’ Library

A number of books on geological topics were left to EHGC by much missed member Alan White. They are held at Ware Museum and may be borrowed by members at club meetings or by arrangement with Diana.  Click here to download the list.
